Work with Thatch

This work is for
institutions ready to
use what they know.

Thatch is not a fit for every organization. It is a fit for health departments, research teams, and foundations that are genuinely ready to change how community evidence reaches decisions.

Who this is for

Good candidates for
Thatch engagement

Organizations responsible for population health and equity outcomes, including philanthropic organizations and foundations, community-engaged research teams, local and state health departments, cross-sector equity initiatives, and public health and policy programs.

This is not generalist equity consulting. Thatch's work is specific: closing the gap between community knowledge and institutional decision-making through structured methodology. Organizations that already have good engagement practices but are not getting traction in the decision layer are the best fit.

What engagement looks like

How we work together

01
Initial conversation

A 45-minute call to understand your context, what you already have, and whether Thatch is the right fit. No sales process. An honest assessment of what this work could do for you.

02
Scope and proposal

If there's alignment, Thatch develops a scope that is specific to your situation. Not a menu selection. An actual proposal built around what you need.

03
The work

Engagement structure depends on the offering. Analysis projects typically run four to eight weeks. Training and advisory engagements are structured around your planning cycle and team capacity.

04
Deliverables and handoff

Every engagement ends with something you can use. Not a process report. Structured evidence, practical tools, or applied capacity your team can carry forward.
